Yuki-tsumugi continues through organizations as well as hands. The regional association lists raw-material, dyeing, weaving, and wholesaler groups, and points to bolt inspections, technical training, exhibitions, and management of inspected bolts. The wholesalers’ cooperative describes more than 50 years as a bridge among the production area, the kimono trade, and people who care about the cloth.
The museum setting makes the same continuity tactile: tsukushi, oboke, agewaku, looms, bolts, and kimono sit beside thread-spinning and weaving experiences. Continuity here means specific scenes, including a tub of hand-spun thread, a loom adjusted by the waist, a bolt checked after weaving, and workshops or exhibitions where the work remains visible.
